Arcade Fire - Intervention
Não sou um fan hardcore de Arcade Fire. Contudo gosto do trabalho que desenvolveram e acho que as músicas que eles compuseram são bastante potenciadas ao vivo.
Posto isto desde que os vi ao vivo tornei-me cada vez mais admirador da banda do Canadá. A música Intervention é a que eu mais gosto e aquela que toca mais fundo quando a ouço.
Eu nem sou um grande admirador da forma do Win Butler cantar, principalmente no primeiro disco em que parece que ele está a levar facadas enquanto canta, mas aqui ele é irrepreensível.

A letra em si é bastante bonita e remete-me para dificuldades que nunca sofri. Remete para sofrimentos provocados pela guerra e por vidas inocentes desfeitas por planos maquiavélicos de mentes distorcidas. Remete-me para os momentos em que nada há para agarrar e sentir como certo em que as pessoas se agarram a orações e sonhos.
Essencialmente o dom desta música é fazer-me sentir algo que se desenrola num ambiente do qual nunca estive perto sequer, felizmente. E isso é algo realmente muito especial. Facilmente sinto aqueles arrepios nas costas que me vão até à ponta dos dedos quando ouço esta música.
